I am from Lowellville, a small town in Ohio. I graduated from Lowellville High School in 2012 and began my college career at Mount Union that fall. After one semester I realized the small school college experience was not for me and quickly transferred to Kent State University where I was pressured by an academic advisor to select a major and fell in love with being an Athletic Trainer. During my undergraduate career I had the wonderful opportunity to work with a variety of different sports teams and was able to interact with athletes from middle schoolers to professionals. Upon graduation panic set in and I was unsure if I would be able to find a job utilizing my Athletic Training degree so I enrolled in graduate school just incase. Thankfully I got a great Athletic Training job in 2018 and have been happily practicing ever since.
