General Hours and Work Expectations
In the office, 4-8 hours per off day
On site, 4-8 hours multiple times per week
Hours and tasks will be determined based upon the departments needs
Main Duties
1. Data collection and analytics
2. Team travel details including: creation of team itineraries, rooming lists, packing travel equipment bags and delegating team travel responsibilities
3. Creating marketing media and promotional ideas for various campus athletic programs
4. Involvement in season ticket sales, distribution and assistance with special events associated with being a season ticket holder
5. Planning for the annual athletics golf tournament
6. Interacting with and relationship building with new and already existing donors
7. Helping host Panther Club events during various athletic events throughout the spring
8. Planning and establishing future fundraising events
9. Actively participating in our campus wide Day of Giving
10. Posting and promoting on social media accounts
Compensation
This internship is on a volunteer basis, I received no payment or benefits
Experience Goals
1. A better understanding of all the factors that play into the success of Division I athletics
2. Learning how to properly interact with high value donors to obtain large donations in a tasteful way
3. To get a true view on the planning, marketing and execution of large-scale campus events
4. To learn the ins and outs of how marketing and promotions intertwine with receiving donations and partnerships
5. The ability to successfully plan, facilitate and delegate all the components of team travel in order to be able to provide more than just one service to a future employer 6. Become comfortable with the data collection software programs that are used throughout the world of athletics to be able to provide additional value to the
workplace

5. Management skills in regards to supervising undergraduate and work study
